Sparky Diva
Giorgia Paladini, professionally known as Sparky Diva, was born and raised in Lecce, South Italy. An Aries by birth, she celebrates her birthday on April 12th alongside her twin brother Nando. Her parents, Ms. Patricia and Mr. Fiorello, are both Italian. Her mother owns and operates a bar in Italy, while her father serves in the military. Sparky attended Business School in Italy, graduating with a degree in business, but her true passions have always been dance and music. Known from a young age as a talented dancer and choreographer, she began performing early in her career. Her stage name “Sparky Diva” was given to her by a well-known dancer from Kingston, Jamaica, inspired by her vibrant fashion sense and magnetic personality, and the name has stayed with her ever since.
In 2017, Sparky hosted her own radio show in Italy called “Sparky Live”, where she introduced audiences to dancehall music and reggae culture. That same year, she won the Italy Dancehall Queen Competition in December, marking a major milestone in her early career, and performed at the Stone Love Anniversary in Jamaica, gaining international recognition. In 2018, she was featured in Caribbean Pop Style and mentioned by The Star Jamaica for her outstanding fashion sense and strong personality, confirming her growing presence in the Jamaican dancehall scene. Later that year, she was crowned and highlighted by Jamaican superstar Spice during an event in Italy, further solidifying her reputation as one of Europe’s top female dancehall performers.
Over the following years, Sparky continued to expand her artistic journey. His public support on social media motivated her to transition from dancer to recording artist. In 2023, Sparky performed at major dancehall events including Rytikal’s Birthday Party at Meca Club, Jangas, and Ghetto Splash, receiving strong audience reactions and recognition as the only Italian female artist on stage.
The year 2024 marked a new level of success in her career. She was featured in Vybz Kartel’s “Cloud” and “Str888 Vibez” videoshoots, and collaborated with top producers Russian and Anju Blaxx. Her single “Money”, voiced on Dutty Money Riddim by Russian, gained strong traction online, showcasing her unique fusion of Italian roots and authentic dancehall sound. That same year, she was also invited to perform at the legendary Sting, hosted by “Leng”, further cementing her presence in the Jamaican dancehall scene.
Her versatility shines not only in her cross-cultural collaborations but also in her ability to perform, engage the audience, and command the stage with energy and charisma. Known for her bold fashion, distinctive style, and captivating presence, Sparky Diva continues to stand out as a unique and dynamic force in the global dancehall scene. Her hit single “Salento We Party”, co-produced with Italian artist Diardi and producer Lortara, became popular across Italy and Europe, celebrating the fusion between Italian and Jamaican vibes. She writes her own lyrics, performs in both Patwah and Italian, and also produces her own music, including the single “Picture”.
